I am a board certified Licensed Professional Counselor and approved supervisor licensed by the state of Texas. I received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of St. Thomas, a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Houston - Clear Lake, a Master's degree in Developmental Psychology from Walden University, and a PhD from Walden University in Developmental Psychology. I am currently accepting new clients at a private practice located in the Webster/Clear Lake area in Texas. I have flexible hours during the week to help meet the needs of clients who are in school or have strict work schedules.
I am experienced in working with individuals, couples and families. I have been working in the mental health field since 2009 in various settings including private practice, residential treatment settings, Child Protective Services, domestic violence shelters, community mental health agencies and the criminal justice system. I have experience working with men, women, children, teens, couples and families with a variety of issues including intimate partner violence, child abuse, behavioral concerns, developmental disabilities, legal issues, grief, depression, anxiety, crisis and substance abuse.
I have a passion for helping others navigate their way through life’s ups and downs and helping them build the skills needed to cope with the issues that may be causing problems in their life. I take a unique approach to each client and work hard to ensure their experience in therapy is one that will bring them peace and encouragement to move forward in a positive direction. We will work together to make the changes you are wanting to see in your life.

Many people are reluctant to contact a therapist because they feel something needs to be seriously wrong with them. However, that is far from the truth. Most of the people who seek my services are well functioning adults that are going through a difficult time in life. If you are struggling within your relationships, having trouble dealing with strong emotions, or not functioning as well as you have in the past, you may find it beneficial to speak with a professional. Reaching out for help is actually a sign of strength. There is no “one size fits all model of therapy.” Together we can come up with a plan that best suits your needs.
My goal is to help individuals and couples:
Find healthier ways of interacting
Increase intimacy
Decrease suffering
Increase coping

I am committed to the art of helping people both in person or via teletherapy. I believe that by helping my clients to purposely look at and learn more effective ways of dealing with problematic situations, life and relationships can be more fulfilling. This process involves examining behaviors, feelings, and thoughts objectively and sometimes requires learning new and different ways of responding to specific situations in life.
I strive to continue my education to provide quality services.

If you are looking for guidance with anxiety, fears, it takes courage to ask for help. Admitting you can’t do everything on your own, is the first step toward achieving wellness in a fast paced, demanding world.
The good news is, asking for help gets easier with a little practice. The way in which we cope in the world is greatly influenced by how we see the world. Asking for help, and obtaining a fresh perspective is often the first and most profound step toward developing the mental muscle needed to become stronger. The more support you gain, the better equipped you will be to take on bigger challenges and achieve more successes.
The goal of our team of Board Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists at The Family Relationship Center is to provide high quality care to men, women, children, and families living in and around League City, Clear Lake and throughout surrounding NASA communities. We help individuals, children, couples, and entire families achieve healthier relationships. We believe that healthy relationships are essential for the wellbeing of children, families, individuals and communities.
We are here to help you talk through your personal, private issues in a safe, accepting, supportive, comfortable, and collaborative environment. Coming to counseling is a healthy coping skill to handle life and all of life’s stressors.
